Receptionist - FT

Job Location: Resilient Health - 23rd Avenue Youth & Family @ 8152 N. 23d Ave., Stes. A & B,  Phoenix, AZ 85021 

About our Receptionist Position:

This position will be the first impression for many of our participants at our 23rd Avenue Youth & Family location. In addition to conveying a warm and welcoming environment, our receptionist will perform general office, data, secretarial and receptionist duties, including answering phones. 

Skills:

  • Ability to organize projects, prioritize workflow and complete multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Professional appearance and great people skills
  • Competency in the preparation of accurate reports from file records and source material and ability to conduct special research as required.
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment, initiative and tact in dealing with management, supervisors, and staff.
  • Capable of using judgment and tact in dealing with clients at reception area.
  • Able to effectively and politely answer a large number of telephone lines, take messages and transfer calls; greet office visitors, announce appointments and direct people to the appropriate destination.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • General computer literacy using Microsoft products and other related software.
  • Ability to learn new software in a timely manner.

Education/Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • High school diploma or GED; and
  • Two years of experience in general secretarial or receptionist functions. 

Knowledge of:

  • Business equipment, computers, computer software and office procedures.
